What awaits the italian wine industry in 2016?

The new year is coming and all the companies are planning and developing new marketing strategies for the coming year.
These days from Verona some very important news for the Italian wine sector have arrived.
There is no doubt that this city has become known not only as the wine capital but also as  the location of the famous events at national and international level in this sphere.



It’s logical enough that the good news for this important italian sector arrive from this wonderful city surrounded by the hills covered with vines. The fine wines, including the famous and appreciated worldwide Amarone of Valpolicella, are produced exactly here.

The first good news for winemakers came from the Government of the Veneto region. In fact in 2016 to this industry will be provided 13.5 million euros.  The 14-17 thousand euro per hectare of the planted vineyards are dedicated to the repayment of the producers investments for its replanting and reconstruction.

The other good news came from Veronafiere where these days was held a talk show dedicated to the 50th edition of Vinitaly, which will take part in Verona next year.






We have already told you that Vinitaly is the most important fair in the world of wines and each year its attract many restaurateurs, producers and wine lovers from around the world that make the event to take constant growth numbers of the visitors.
During the forum dedicated to wine business Wine2Wine, there was a meeting with the President of Veronafiere Maurizio Danish who announced that for the 2016 was planned 8 million euro investment to support the wine business with the incoming of foreign operators and for the  improvements of the infrastructure.
Actually the power of Vinitaly was noted by the government so this event will be a part of the Plan of the extraordinary promotion for the internationalization of Italy.

We can say that with this news we are more than confident that the future of Vinitaly and Verona as the city that hosts it historically, will be radiant, full of events and new projects that will bring many benefits to this Smart land.
