What are the things to do in Verona during fall?

True autumn days are coming, the days become shorter and mostly cloudy.
This time of the year is perfect to devote to cultural, sport, enogastronomic or well-being events.
We currently have some things to propose you to do in Verona depending on the weather conditions: in case of sun, rain and fog or snow (which will cover the mountains at the end of November).

In case of sunny weather

The sunny days are perfect to go to walk at Garda lake or hiking in the surrounding Verona mountains.
Among those paths in the mountains, there is one that we like is the walk from Spiazzi to the Diocesan Shrine of Verona Madonna della Corona, one of the most particular places in the Veneto region and across Italy that is located between the mountain rocks and overlooks to the Adige river.
If at the lake there is a good weather and the sky is clear, it’s a great time to take the cable car  in Malcesine and up to Mountain Baldo to admire breathtaking views.

In case of rain and fog

When there is a bad weather one of the most funny things to do in Verona is to dive into the pools of the spas that are located on Lake Garda and Valpolicella. Its a great idea is right as well as for copies, families with children or even the groups of friends.
The foggy and rainy days are perfect to dedicate to the sightseeing and cultural events.
If you read our blog you could notice that there are many interisting museums in the Verona’s area which one you can choose depends on you interests.
Do not forget that there are a lot of theaters including: the Philharmonic Theatre and the Teatro Nuovo in Verona, Teatro Salieri Legnago and many other small theaters in the municipalities that offer a numerous performances.
The program you can find on the website Carnet Verona.

In case of snow

When the mountains are covered with snow it is a paradise for everyone who love winter sports.
The Monte Baldo ski slopes can be easily reached by cable car from Malcesine.
In Lessinia you can find numerous cross country skiing trails and the snowshoeing tours that are organized even at night when the moon is full. Believe us that it’s an unforgettable walk.
If you like ice skating, in Bosco Chiesanuova there is a skating ring where you can rent skates.
