In these days Veronafiere hosts the 11th edition of Progetto Fuoco, the international biennial point of reference for the sector of systems and equipment for the production of heat and energy deriving from the burning of wood.
Progetto fuoco has started yesterday and will continue until February 25, with 800 exhibitors from 40 countries (300 of which are foreign) and occupies 7 pavillons with more of 300 working systems, including stoves, fireplaces and boilers.
In 2016, the event was able to attract over 70,000 visitors to Verona during the five days of the event: Progetto Fuoco is not only addressed to specialists in the sector, but also to designers and final consumers.
Increasing is the interest of architects and designers, since the stove and the fireplace are no longer seen as mere heating tools, but from a furnishing point of view they are a plus that can give warmth and elegance to any environment.
"Architects and designers, together with installers, plumbing and heating and an increasing number of private individuals, are approaching with increasing interest in the sector” says Aldo Rebuli, President of Piemmeti Spa, the company that organizes the event “also driven by consumers called by the charm of the living flame and the incentives of the Energy Account ".
Progetto Fuoco has a special eye on the environment, because the continuous technological evolution of the sector allows today to signal to consumers the level of harmful emissions emitted by the new generation plants, which are able to reduce the environmental impact up to 70%. Aiel (Italian Association of Agroforestal Energies) is a partner of the event and promotes to Veronafiere “Aria Pulita”, the certification attesting the quality of the performance of fireplaces, stoves, wood or pellet kitchen and boilers.
To crown the exhibition, Progetto Fuoco's agenda will be full of commitments: about 50 conferences, workshops and technical meetings in the program, which will address the issues of future developments in the sector and the feasible solutions for increasing sustainability environmental.
"Progetto Fuoco” said the President of Veronafiere Maurizio Danese “confirms itself as a business platform for companies and an important showcase for a sector that can contribute to the modern development of the country, in terms of an environmental sustainability that is no longer only a cultural fact, but a driver of global economic growth ".
