Toulouse-Lautrec’s Belle Époque is on stage in Verona

The bohemian world, Moulin Rouge dancers, artists of Montmartre... The whole imagery of  Paris during XIX century is represented by just one name: Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, post-impressionist artist, illustrator and lithographer who has created a copious production during his short life. His artworks, now, are in the major museums all around the world.
After the great success achieved at Palazzo Chiablese in Turin, this great Parisian author has arrived in Verona at Amo Palazzo Forti with 170 artworks, illustrating the eccentric, unconventional and innovative art of one of the most creative minds of the late nineteenth century. From April 1st to September 3rd, color lithographs, posters, pencil and pen drawings, promotional graphics and illustrations for newspapers that became the symbol of an era will be on display. Strong, unscrupulous and essential colors, along with an art devoid of embellishments depict the life at the Moulin Rouge and in the maisons closes, in Montmartre theaters and in Paris.
The Toulouse-Lautrec. La Belle Époque exhibition, with the sponsorship of the City of Verona, was designed and created by Arthemisia Group, with the contribution of AGSM, and it is curated by Stefano Zuffi famous Italian art historian.
