6. From the Roman time Verona is famous for its marble not only in Italy but also all around the world. The most prestigious and valuable is the red marble and for the furniture.
There are numerous companies on the north-west part of the city that extract, work and sale the marble.
It is interesting to know that the Verona’s marble was used in the construction of the Arena di Verona, in the paving of the Piazza delle Erbe and the liston of Piazza Bra! Every year in  September in Verona is held an important international trade fair dedicated to this wonderful and precious material: Marmomacc.

7. The Verona’s cuisine has always been famous for its rich and delicious plates, what always results the excellences of the surrounding area.
The Bolito with pearà, pastisada of caval, the Risotto with Amarone or risotto of tastasal are always in the menu of Verona citizens who accompanied every plate by the grass of famous local wines.
