Today, October 20 will be the Tavola Rotonda of To Be Verona “Moment of meeting and discussion between young people and innovative startup of the land of Verona” at Progetto di Vita. Cattolica per i Giovani (Corso Porta Nuova, 11b - Verona). An appointment that is included in the International Forum of To Be Verona, that arrives this year at the third edition.
The courage and success of winning insights will be the protagonist of this event: To Be Verona underlines the importance of emergering talent and gives value to human capital for organizing the future development of Verona in terms of business and innovation.
From 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm there will be four companies of Verona, that will tell their story and the avantgarde studies that have made it possible to realize their ambitions, through the testimony of the founders.
“Diamante was born from research: a startup case” will be the speech of Linda Avesani, Founder of Diamante (Diagnosi di Malattie Autoimmuni mediante NanoTecnologie), which will focus on the use of plants for the ecosostenible production of nanoparticles based on modified plant viruses.
Silvia Lampis, Founder of Bactory, will explain how microorganisms are useful for innovation in technology thanks to their antimicrobial and bactericidal properties, used as disinfectant / hygienic, antifouling and biofilm removal (aggregation of microorganisms).
“From research to entrepreneurship: BBZ Technologies tells itself” will be the speech of Davide Zerbato, Founder of BBZ Medical Technologies, with a focus on the development and certification of surgical robots, but also on the interactive simulation of realistic environments given by parallel architectures.
The fourth speaker will be Matteo Castioni of AlghItaly, startup that has as its social object of innovative contributions in agriculture, through the development of technologies for the production of microalga based products, high nutritional foods, rich in proteins, vitamins and antioxidants and biostimulants, which can be used in different market sectors: food, nutraceutical, cosmetic, zootechnical and phytochemicals.
