Start Cup Veneto: the innovation in Verona

Innovation is at home in Verona: "Start Cup Veneto" is back. This competition aims to stimulate research and technological innovation to support the economic development of the regional territory. In this challenge play many innovators which propose new business ideas to launching a start-up in a concrete way.

The "Start Cup Veneto" initiative is funded by the Universities of Verona, Universities of Padua and Universities of Venice (IUAV), in collaboration with many organizations and companies, including two partners of To Be Verona, ie 311 Verona and Progetto di Vita. Cattolica per i Giovani (Life Project. Catholic for young people).

The "Veneto 2018 Start Cup Award" will proclaim 5 winners among all the participants. The total prize money is € 15,000. The winners will also participate in the national final organized by PNICube: the "National Award for Innovation 2018" with the other 17 Italian Start Cup winners.

As part of the "Start Cup Veneto", training courses are also held in the field of business management to understand how to transform one's idea into a concrete industrial project. This is also an excellent opportunity for new start-ups to establish a privileged contact with the industrial and financial world.

Just yesterday in Verona, the first of eight lessons of the project "Camp For University" took place at the ESU VERONA, the reference point for the students of the University of Verona for work orientation and professional integration.

With over 977 startups and innovative SMEs accredited by the regional chamber system, Veneto confirms itself as a fruitful place for the creation of new businesses, engaged in activities aimed at potential startuppers, such as self-learning schools and webinars with national accelerators.
