JOB&Orienta: over 75,000 visitors for the 28th edition

On Saturday 1st December, JOB&Orienta, the event that reached its 28th edition, ended with an increase in numbers compared to last year, it is confirmed as the most important fair in Italy on orientation, schooling, training and work.

The event was promoted by Veronafiere and the Veneto Region, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, University, Research and with the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies. From Thursday, November 29 to Saturday, December 1, JOB&Orienta has confirmed itself as a reference point for students who have to choose the university path, for young people who are looking for a job and for all those professionals who work in schools, universities or companies that deal with recruiting. This year the event has registered more than 75,000 visitors, with more than 500 schools, higher technical colleges, universities, companies, employment agencies and institutions. The busy program provided for the intervention of 350 speakers divided into the 200 appointments scheduled.

The title of this year, "From Citizenship to Work. Promoting rights, training skills, guaranteeing opportunities.", highlights the importance of being citizens, with a school and a job that educates people in this regard. The other important topics discussed during the event were the study-work experience - a fundamental topic for the organizers - tertiary education, Made in Italy, digital and eco-sustainability.

Great success for the Little-town of foreign Universities, a pavilion dedicated to important companies operating at European level. Among others we find Goingdutch - Studying in the Netherlands, a reality that brings together 5 Dutch universities that deal with applied sciences with a very practical preparation to guide and facilitate the entry of students into specific professions.

The presence of important personalities such as the Ministers Luigi Di Maio (Labor, Social Policies and Economic Development), Marco Bussetti (Education, University and Research) and Lorenzo Fontana (Policies for the Family) confirmed the importance of the work that for years JOB&Orienta is carrying on. Year after year the event organized by Veronafiere grows and updates, confirming the reference point for the young people of the future.
