Electric bikes Trend: Verona becomes more sustainable with Agsm

The attention towards sustainable mobility is growing throughout Italy and according to the 10th Euromobility report on sustainable mobility in major Italian cities, Verona is ranked in 14th place. Milan achieves the first position, but two cities of Veneto join the top 5, they are Venice and Padua.

Agsm is the proof of how several Verona realities have proved to be up with the times and more green. Recently the first two electric bikes, part of the vehicle fleet of the company, were presented. The bikes will be available to employees who will move in the center of the city with an ecological, fast and sustainable transportation. Just few more days and then Agsm workers will have also electric cars available.

There is already a column for electric cars recharging in front of the headquarters of Agsm (Lungadige Galtarossa) and it is usable by the public. Signing a document in Agsm allow people to recharge their vehicles. Other recharging columns will be soon installed in other places of the city and the exhibition area of Veronafiere seems to be the favourite one.
