Consorzio Zai: here are the dizzying numbers of 2015

At the end of April were presented the numbers of last financial statements of Verona’s Consorzio Zai, an institutional and territorial organisation that, since 1948, is responsible for promoting the development of the economy of Verona.
The consortium, which operates in four different industrial zones with a total of 10 millions square meters of infrastructures, 1,000 companies and 40,000 employees, recorded in 2015 a net profit increase of 300%.
"Consorzio Zai has reached 9.1 millions in turnover (+ 10.76%), with an EBITDA of 2.7 millions (+ 29.845%)" explains Matteo Gasparato, President of the consortium, which continues "Quadrante Europa spread over an area of 4,5 milions square meters and for the first time in 2015, was occupied the 100% of warehouses and platforms."
This encouraging result was achieved by increasing the revenue derived from concession fees (7 millions, equivalent to +4.8%) and increasing the sales of manufacturing facilities and logistics, yielding a profit that rose from 137 thousands of euros in 2014 , to 1,45 million in 2015.
The consortium is also continuing to purchase land for the Marangona area, in the south-east of Verona, with an investment of half a million euro, more than 750 thousands meters acquired.
With these numbers Consorzio Zai proves this year to be the Verona’s subsidiary company with the best performance of the “Veronese”.
