Approved the 2015 budget of Camera di Commercio di Verona

7 millions euro are the funds disbursed in 2015 by the Camera di Commercio of Verona for the promotion of economic and business activities of the city.
Cesare Veneri, general secretary, specified that "the 52.4% was disbursed through grants to companies for innovation and facilitating access to credit. The 11.6% was employed in operations for internationalization, foreign missions, collective international trade fairs and organization of incoming with buyers and operators of various sectors: marble, mechanical, tourism, agro-food and wine , mainly. The 18.2% was allocated to interventions that promoted the economy and the 9% to commercialization."
Although 2015 saw a drastic reduction of the annual fee, which went from 24.5 million euro in 2014 to 17.9 in 2015, the Verona chamber of commerce has managed not only to meet the needs of the local economy, but also to close the year with a deficit of EUR 655 thousand, instead of the forecast loss of 5 million.
Winning strategy has been to the downsizing of the costs through a planned action which strengthened online sevices and reorganized the services offered by the three peripheral headquarters of Legnago, Villafranca and San Bonifacio.
