In this winter days we want to tell you about where and how you can spend a fantastic days on the snow.
Does it seem strange to talk about snow in Verona? The truth is that only 20 km from the center of Verona the hills which surrounding the city give way to mountain zones where in winter you can enjoy fantastic views and winter sports.
The Monte Baldo
Just 50 km from the center of Verona on Garda lake is situated a famous Monte Baldo Cableway which takes you to an altitude of 1800 meters. This zone offers 10 kilometers of slopes where everyone can choose what to do:
- snowshoeing
- cross country skiing
- snowboarding
- alpine skiing
If you are not very practical in ski disciplines, there is also a ski school with talented and qualified ski instructors.
If you like to have a fun , there is a Baldo Snowpark with a mattress made for cushion the falls.

Malga San Giorgio (Monti Lessini)
Just 40 km from Verona is situated Lessinia Park. It’s a kind of a paradise for all who loves winter sports.
Malga San Giorgio is famous for its routes and a plateau entirely dedicated to cross country skiing.
Lovers of downhill skiing will find here various tracks with different degrees of difficulty.
The most popular here is the double chairlift Gaibana with a red run of 300 vertical meters.
There is also an off-trail for the adventurous where you can be followed by instructors.
In Bosco Chiesanuova there is a skating rink with the rental service of the technical equipment and a bar to make the time you spend here more enjoyable and comfortable.
